JOB TITLE: Web Developer
REPORTING TO: General Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Set up of a company e-Comerce site using OPEN CART software.

Upload product data, pricing and photo for the companies 1000 + products.
Once completed, be responsible for the sites maintainance and updating.

KEY JOB SKILLS:

• Experience in web development, using HTML, JavaScript (jQuery), CSS, PHP and MySQL.
• Candidates should have proven PHP experience as well as a solid understanding of Object Oriented Design and Programming.
• Strong experience in Opencart and other e-commerce cms
• Experience in any of these PHP frameworks; Zend, Symphony, Yii, CodeIgniter, CakePHP will be an added advantage.
• Strong experience in Photoshop/ Illustrator
• A solid understanding of web application development processes, from the layout/user interface to relational database structures.
• Development skills that support SEO are a plus.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: Diploma in IT or a related Field
MINIMUM YEARS OF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: 2
