Responsibilities:

- Participate in all HIV/AIDS meetings, record all proceedings and circulate to all partners/stakeholders.
- Produce and send out documents/materials to partners/stakeholders.
- Assist in verification of receipts submitted by program workers, partners/stakeholders.
- Track partner reporting requirements in collaboration with the Assistant Director.
- Conduct basic research and documentation for grant proposals
- Maintain all project files and databases in collaboration with IT manager and the assistant Director.
- File (electronic and hard) and retrieve project documents, reports and meeting minutes
- Assist in organizing workshops in terms of logistics, venue, booking, procurement of workshop materials and preparing the folders.
- Attend support group meetings.
- Supervise the daily activities of the community health volunteers and community mobilization officer
- Ensure that all income generating projects for clients are sustainable and manned properly.
- Initiate Income Generating Activities (IGAs) for clients
- Communicate material and cash needs to assistant Director/finance manager in a timely manner
- Preparing, typing and photocopying official documents as directed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Social Sciences, Development studies, Public Health, and other relevant fields
- At least 1 year experience in community-based health projects, preferably in HIV/AIDS. Previous experience working for an NGO is an added advantage
- Good interpersonal communication, training and facilitation skills
- Good written and spoken English skills, competency in Swahili will be an advantage
- Ability to work effectively as a team member and with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with and commitment to gender equity and diversity
- Excellent computer skills and familiarity with email etiquette communication tools. Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) proficiency required
- Impressive report writing skills
