Job Title: Lecturer
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Principal – Co-operative Bank Management Centre, the Lecturer is responsible for planning, developing, scheduling, coordinating and implementing training calendar and programs/courses.Main Duties:
- Identification of training needs.
- Administration of training programmes/ courses.
- Developing and recommending course content as well as training materials.
- Facilitating/delivering various courses, including setting and marking tests and evaluating courses.
- Recruit and develop part-time trainer relations with staff situated at branches and Head Office Departments as well as maintaining the relationships.
- Collect and follow up on training feedback.
- Assist in developing, administering and marking of aptitude tests.
- Roll out and administer e-learning programmes alongside e-learning staff.
- Maintain relationships with on-site/part-time trainers and visit branches to monitor Teller coaching.
- Training impact assessment.
- Travelling to the region to facilitate training.
- Facilitation of team building sessions for bank staff.
Job specification:The incumbent will be required to possess the following qualifications, attributes and skills:
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Education
- Must have detailed knowledge of banking operations with branch experience of no less than 2 years
- Must be an experienced trainer with good communication and presentation skills
- Experience in other learning/training environments highly desirable.
- Participation in general management of Courses
- Team player with a very positive attitude
- Self-driven, flexible, creative/ Innovative.
- Disciplined and Customer focused
- Mature and professional
- Leadership and decision making skills
- Planning and organizational skills
- Conceptual and analytical skills
- 35 years and below
