Electronics/Electrical Maintenance Technicians Jobs at Central Bank of Kenya
The Central Bank of Kenya invites applications from suitably qualified, experienced and self-motivated candidates with proven track record to fill the above positions.
Duties And Responsibilities
Reporting to the Electrical/Electronic Engineer, the Electronic Technician will be expected to carry out the following duties and responsibility.
- to perform start up and shut down procedures on machines
- to carry out scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance of machines
- to trouble shoot, diagnose and resolve machine faults
- to fill and maintain routine machine maintenance logs
- to offer required technical assistance to machine operators
- to maintain and update records of spares and consumables used by the machines
- to periodically prepare machines repair and maintenance reports
- to assist in preparing equipment specifications under the engineer¿s supervision
- to liaise with the engineer on complex technical problems and faults of machines
- Be a Graduate of a recognised Technical Institution/Polytechnic with a minimum qualification of Higher National Diploma in Electrical, Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering
- Be conversant with or experienced in electrical & electronics engineering, mechanical engineering works, pneumatic and hydraulic principles
- Must have a minimum of 5 years hands-on practical experience in a busy production, technical service environment or maintenance workshop.
- Demonstrate knowhow, ability and competence to troubleshooting, repair and maintainance of electrical and electronics, electro-pneumatic, electro-mechanical and mechanical equipment.
- Demonstrate ability to read & interpret electronic circuits, pneumatic and mechanical diagrams.
- Must have good communication skills and be effective team player.
- Be computer literate and well versed in Windows packages particularly, MS-Word, Power-Point, Spreadsheet, & MS Project.
- Should NOT be above 35 years of age.
