Tin Tin Restaurant is seeking a qualified and motivated cook to join its Kitchen department. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing meals as per order and maintaining the cleanliness of their work areas.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Hotel & Hospitality Management
- 2 Years previous experience in the hospitality industry
- Experience in Oriental cuisines preparation a must
- Strong Culinary skills
- Good time management skills
- Ability to master and communicate menu items and their preparation
- High personal integrity

- Prepare food to customers’ specifications and to safety standards
- Check all ready food for quality and presentation
- Keep kitchen and food preparation areas clean and sanitized
- Ensure that all food stations are properly stocked
- Control the work flow in the kitchen to maximize the staff’s efficiency
- Keep the kitchen work area well-organized
- Additional responsibilities as assigned or requested by management
Tin Tin Restaurant is seeking a qualified and conscientious Storekeeper to join its stores department. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing and compiling records and reports of supplies and equipment for the restaurant. Further, they will ensure that optimum stock levels are maintained, that all goods, perishable and non-perishable are stored under ideal conditions and that maximum security applies at all times, particularly when receiving or issuing goods.

- Degree/Diploma in Procurement & Stores Management
- 2 Years previous experience in a similar position
- Strong numeracy skills
- Good time management skills
- High personal integrity
- Able to work under pressure
- Trustworthiness is essential
- Order goods and supplies to ensure that maximum/minimum stock levels are maintained.
- Liaise with Procurement Officer on the ordering of goods.
- Ensure that goods received are of the quality and quantity ordered and in accordance with the agreed price.
- Ensure the timely and correct completion of all administrative records in respect of deliveries.
- Complete all documentation and take the necessary action in cases of non-delivery, substandard deliveries or over pricing.
- Ensure that all items are stored correctly, in terms of temperature, humidity and shelf life and that no food items are stored on the floor.
- Ensure correct stock rotation and that issues are effected on a first in, first out basis.
- • Ensure that all issues are made against requisitions and that no items leave the storeroom without the appropriate documentation or signature.
- Ensure maximum security of all storeroom areas, that no unauthorised person enters the stores or is issued with a key allowing access.
- Inform management and follow agreed procedures in the case of spoilage or damage of any item.
- Take stock at prescribed intervals and ensure that all necessary administration is completed without delay.
