Finance Department
Regional Finance & Operations Co-Ordinator
Grade 5
This position is in the Regional Office. Reporting to the Regional Manager, the candidate will oversee the Financial Management within the designated Region.

Key Responsibilities
- Receive periodic reports from the Branch Managers as prepared by Branch Finance Officer
- Ensure disbursement of resources are efficiency used within the Region
- Prepare budgets in correspondence with the Branch Managers in the Region
- Bachelors of Commerce Degree
- CPA (K)
- 5 years relevant experience
- Understanding of Financial positions as per Government regulations
- Accuracy in reporting

Grade 6
This position is in Head Office. Reporting to the Section Head (Income), the candidate will ensure prompt receipt and analysis of income.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure collections are done for both TPS and member contributions
- Carry out Bank Reconciliation
- Maintain the Cash Book
- Receipting of income
- Bachelors of Commerce Degree

Grade 6
This position is in Head Office. Reporting to the Section Head (Reporting and Analysis), the candidate will undertake Management and Financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in Budget preparation process
- Collect and consolidate monthly Management Accounts from Sections
- Prepare adjustment journals
- Coordinate with IT in the generation of reports from the system
- Assist in the preparation of Annual Financial Statements
- Co-ordinate and liaise with External Auditors

These positions are in the Branch Network. Reporting to the Branch Manager, the candidate will be responsible for recording and preparing Financial Statements for the Branch.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out review of Cash book entries
- Preparation of cash reports
- Ensure that Branch data complies with the generally accepted Accounting principles

These are three positions (3). Reporting to Branch Account in the Branch and Finance Officer (Expenditure) at the Head Office.
Key Responsibilities
- Confirmation of availability of Funds before commitment of expenditure
- Commitment of Funds to budgetary allocation
- Update budgetary control expenditure system with actual expenditure
- File and monitor the imprest register
- Process of imprest surrender
- CPA (Part II) Qualification
- 2 years relevant experience
- Accuracy in detail
- Proper understanding of Government budgetary process
Procurement Officer (Market Intelligence)
Grade 6
This position is in the Head Office. Reporting to the Section Head (Purchasing), the candidate will be responsible for maintaining the most competitive vendors for the Funds needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile a list of Fund vendors periodically
- Analyze current market prices and prepare a list of alternative vendors
- Prepare a report on new vendors in the market and their terms of supply
- Prepare a report on new vendors in the market and their terms of supply
- Continuously check the quality of current vendors and compare to alternate vendors
- Initiate the drafting of contracts to be signed with suppliers of goods and services
- Facilitate the execution, monitoring and management of supplier contracts.
- Bachelors of Commerce, Business Management Degree
- Diploma in Procurement
- 3 years relevant experience
- Comprehensive understanding of the Public Procurement Act and Regulations

Grade 6
This position is in head office. Reporting to the Section Head (Purchasing) the candidate will be responsible for implementing e Tender Process.
Key Qualifications
- Prepare of Tender documents and advertisements
- Prepare evaluation reports
- Assist in contract formulation once suppliers are awarded contract
- Participates in preparation of award and tender documents
- Bachelors of Commerce, Business Management Degree
- Diploma in Procurement

- Comprehensive understanding of the Public Procurement Act and Regulations

Section Head (Risk and Compliance)
Grade 5
The position is in Head Office. Reporting to the Manager (Internal Audit and Risk),
the candidate will be responsible for ensuring risks to the business are identified
and prevented.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct risk assessment and risk profiling for the Fund
- Risk evaluation involving comparing estimated risks with risk criteria
- Risk reporting in an appropriate way for different stakeholders
- Oversee Corporate Governance and external risk reporting to stakeholders
- Risk treatment by selecting by implementing measures to control and mitigate risks including activities to avoid and transfer risks.
- Monitor and review processes to ensure risk and compliance arrangements are in place
- Conduct audits of policy and compliance to standards, including liaison with internal and external auditors.
- Masters of Business Administration
- Bachelor of Commerce, Law or Criminology Degree
- CISA, Diploma in Criminology or similar qualifications
- 5 years relevant experience
- Working knowledge of Risk Management Protocol
- High level of Integrity
- Excellent analytical skills
Grade 6
The position is in Head Office. Reporting to the Section head (Risk and Compliance) , the candidate will establish and support Risk and Compliance policies throughout the Fund.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting risk assessment/risk profiling all audit centers
- Assist in risk assessment which involves analyzing the risks affecting the Fund’s business
- Assisting in designing the Risk Management process for the Fund
- Bachelor of Commerce, Law or Criminology Degree
- CISA, Diploma in Criminology or similar qualifications
- 3 years relevant experience
- Working knowledge of Risk Management Protocol
- Working knowledge of the audit cycle
