Reporting To: Group Managing Director
Scope: Responsible for supervising insurance operations within Kenafric Industries, manages insurance adjusters, investigators, and appraisers. Ensures claims are processed in a timely manner and resolves issues that arise during process.
Job Purpose: Sets the strategic risk management vision and is charged with delivering that strategy to the company. To provide technical support and enhance super service delivery be effecting cost reduction measure through risk reduction and claims documentation with the internal and external customers.

Main Responsibilities:
- Insuring of New Assets & Liabilities
- Renewal of Insurance Policies and negotiation of Terms and Rates
- Quantification of Claims
- Attending to New Claims with Insurance Loss Adjusters
- Follow up with Insurers Loss Adjusters and Insurers on outstanding claims
- Preparing Weekly Engineering Reports
- Preparing Monthly Marine import/ Export Report
- Preparing Monthly General Claims Report
- Prepare Monthly Management Report
- Reconciliation of Insurance Premium account
- Represents the Department at Management Meetings
- Facilitation of payment of Advance Tax for Commercial Vehicles
- Facilitation of Inspection reports for Commercial Vehicles
- Facilitation for the renewal of drivers’ licenses for Kenafric Drivers.
- Other reports as required by Management
Knowledge/Skills/Experience
- Bachelor of Commerce in Insurance/Business related degree /FIIK
- At least 5 years experience in the insurance sector with at least 2 years at a managerial level
- ACII, AIIK, qualifications
