Data Analyst at Jacaranda Health

- Client contact and demographic information
- Client health outcomes, medical records and visits to our in- and out-patient facilities
- Marketing information (calls, campaigns or surveys directed to our clients)
- HR information
- Financial information (costs associated to all marketing, clinical or other operations)
Responsibilities
- Refine the data management system to track operational and financial indicators
- Research right indicators to present to business and clinical management to better understand operations; implement the data collection of identified indicators;
- Create dashboards focusing on the right data;
- Create data reports to be presented to internal and external audiences
- Create and supervise processes of tracking and data entry by frontline staff (receptionists, nurses)
- Audit the quality of the data, organize for data re-entry as necessary and change data entry processes to improve data quality
- Help transition legacy data from older system into new electronic data platform used in the company
- Perform basic administration of Jacaranda IT resources as they relate to the quality of our internal data
- Attend to other administrative duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Science or its equivalent
- Additional training in data management is a definite plus
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ proven experience managing large databases; experience in a health care setting is a definite plus, but not required.
- Proficient in Microsoft (MS Excel in particular) and Google products; familiarity with database management programs (e.g. Access) is a plus; (Shortlisted applicants will be tested on practical Excel higher level functions and formulas)
- High attention to detail and analytical skills required
- Proactive, self-starter and team-oriented; able to multi-task effectively and manage competing priorities in a typical start-up environment
- Dependable and upholding highest level of honesty and confidentiality
