Our client is a well established insurance company with operations in the East African region issuing customers with an assortment of innovative products expertly crafted to meet their insurance needs.  They are looking to recruit a Unit Manager to support business growth and expansion.

Position Overview

The role is responsible for recruiting, managing and ensuring high production targets through a team of Sales Representatives.

Responsibilities

1. Identify, recruit and retain Sales Representatives to meet the Units requirements
2. Develop a high caliber, highly motivated, disciplined and individual team capable of meeting individual and company targets
3. Coordinate, supervise, motivate and train the Sales Representatives
4. Meet sales targets allocated to the unit on all lines of business

Requirements

1. College education from a recognized institution
2. Possession of Certificate of Proficiency (COP) from the College of Insurance
3. Proven experience in insurance sales
4. Computer literate
5. High sales drive with ability to meet set targets
6. Ability to interact with clients at different levels and establish and maintain relationships
