Property Agency Service Assistant, Agency Manager at Virtual HR
Our client is a leading real estate investment partner offering solutions that range from project management to development and acquisition partnership in the regional real estate sector.
Reporting to the Director of Property Agency Services, the incumbent is responsible for market research, the letting and sales function within the property portfolio and for maintaining as close to 100% sales and letting status for the portfolio at all given times
Principal Accountabilities
- Responsible for heading the Department
- Undertake property/sale searches for potential purchase and keeping database for property/sites available for sale
- Collection of data on various categories of specific properties and sectors of the property market
- Analyze market comparables for various sections of the property market using the appropriate methodology
- Meet, greet prospective customers and closing sales at the earliest opportunity and at the best targeted pricing
- Vet prospective tenants by collecting references and carrying out credit checks
- Keeping up to date with trends in the local property market
- Coordinate all closing sales using the company’s checklist
- Follow up on leads generated by specific marketing campaigns and monitor sales
- Organize and follow up with the relevant professionals for property valuations
- A Bachelors’ degree in Real Estate or related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a busy valuation and estate agency firm
- Good knowledge of the local valuation and real estate market
- Strong customer service and negotiation skills
- Keep track of production for advertising materials such as fliers and brochures
- Enter new contact names, addresses, and emails from information request, open house guest books and other sources in the database
- Carry out clerical tasks in the department
- Undertake a variety of administrative duties; i.e. ordering stationery and supplies, accepting deliveries, screening phone calls and making copies
- Follow up on letters/mail-shots with phone calls to ensure customers received the same correspondence
- A Bachelors degree in a related field
- Basic real estate training
- Minimum 3 years experience in a busy real estate office
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Good command of English, both written and verbal
