We seek to recruit an ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT   

OVERALL JOB PURPOSE

Reporting to the Financial Accountant, the ideal candidate will provide financial information to management by analyzing accounting data.

KEY FUNCTION OF THE JOB

1. Bank Reconciliations
2. Intercompany Balances
3. Assist in Management accounts preparation
4. Payables management
5. Monthly reconciliation of intercompany accounts to capture correct transactions per company.
6. Posting of fuel utilization analysis data to the accounting soft ware system for completeness and decision making
7. Filing of statutory returns-VAT,PAYE ,NHIF etc
8. Preparing payables schedules and explanations for audit purposes.
9. Reconciliation of creditors accounts to reflect true position of creditors at any given time
10. Filling of all payment vouchers and creditors invoices for records management

REQUIREMENTS

1. B.COMM
2. CPA  (K) Preferable
3. At least two years previous experience in similar position
