South Nyanza Sugar Company Limited, a key player in the sugar industry in Kenya wishes to enhance its human capital base by filling the following senior management positions with talented and qualified Kenyan citizens:-
Business Systems / Applications Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee analysis of user requirements for implementation of new systems or enhancement of the existing systems
- Work with user departments to continuously identify changing business requirements and ensure these are translated to the business applications
- Oversee translation and documentation of user requirements into system specifications
- Review and update the documented specifications for new systems or enhanced existing systems
- Collaborate with vendors/developers in documenting systems manuals including technical and user manuals
- Collaborate with vendors and users in undertaking testing of new systems or enhanced systems
- Manage performance of application vendors
- To advise the manager on overall strategy regarding business applications
- Oversees maintenance of database systems
- Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent from a recognized institution
- Minimum five years relevant experience in similar field
- Proven knowledge of business analysis, implementation and maintenance of business applications
- Relevant experience ERPs and other business applications,
- Certification in business systems is desired
- Business knowledge of SonySugar functional areas or similar industry
