Hillson International Ltd is a general consultancy company registered in Kenya. Our human resource department provides a connection between job seekers and employers directly or indirectly through agencies, employers, embassies and other recruitment and labor departments. We have established partnerships and relationshipsboth locally and internationally to facilitate the recruitment processes.

We are currently recruiting security guards (200 posts) for our client, a CHINESE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY based in Kenya. The security guards will be stationed within Nairobi and Kiambu Counties.

Duties:

• Conducting random searches of vehicles departing the assigned premises for property theft or pilferage
• Acting as a fire fighter in the event of a fire outbreak
• Guarding the area assigned to detect evidence of illegal entry and ensuring that any material in the area have not been tampered with
• Ensuring all gates are secured at the appointed times
• Assisting with parking duties and crowd control when required;
• Conducting searches of all non-employees entering the assigned premises
• Reporting unusual occurrences to the Shift Supervisor, Security Supervisor
• Conducting access control at all entry/egress points, ensuring only authorized personnel and vehicles are permitted entry
• Assisting the operation of the Main gate during silent hours,including telephone switchboard duties
• Conducting random patrols within the assigned areas
• Perform any other duties assigned by the assigned security supervisor

Requirements:

• Have attained the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education or its equivalent
• Be literate to the extent of reading and understanding printed regulations, detailed assignment instructions, training instructions and be able to compose reports that convey complete information
• Be physically fit and of reasonable height desirable
• Be able to produce a minimum of two referees
• Be of a minimum age of 23 years.

Gross Salary: KSH 15,000
