•  Transport staff primarily between the Corporate Head Quarters and Safaricom House as per approved schedule or any other assigned destination.
•  Monitoring of relevant motor vehicle and driver’s license renewal dates
•   Ensure compliance to all road safety and traffic rules
• Ensuring that company vehicle/s assigned are in perfect condition, performing the normal routine vehicle check up every morning. Checking if they are due for service.
• Check oil, water and tyre pressure levels daily.
• Ensure the shuttle buses are well maintained in full compliance with the routine maintenance schedule.
•     Ensure the vehicles are maintained clean at all times
•   Deliver vehicles to the garages for service and repairs.
•    Act as a  road safety ambassador to drive a culture of continuous improvement on road safety

·         At least 5 years working experience as a driver in a commercial environment, with a valid driving license class (BCE)with PSV experience

·         Defensive Driver training certificate from a reputable organization.

·         Basic computer Knowledge.

·         Knowledge/ Work experience in staff shuttle or tour operations will be an added advantage.

·         First Aid qualifications

·         Pro-actively adapts own style and approach to build rapport, and work with others more effectively

·         Builds and maintains strong relationships and networks

·         Focuses on achieving maximum performance,business continuity and driving continuous improvement  Safety conscious at all time.

·         Certificate in basic mechanics will be an added advantage.
