I. Lecturer
Qualifications:
- PhD Degree in Strategic Management / Organizational Leadership / Public Policy / Political Science / International Relations / from a recognized university or have successfully defended PhD thesis
- University teaching experience
ii. Tutorial Fellow
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Political Science/ Public Administration from a recognized university or have successfully defended PhD thesis
- Willing to register for PhD Degree
5. School of Economics
Department of Applied Economics

I. Senior Lecturer
Qualifications:
- PhD Degree in Economics from a recognized university
- At least five (5) years of university teaching, three (3) of which as full time Lecturer
- At least three (3) articles in refereed Journals since being appointed Lecturer
- Successful supervision of at least three (3) Masters students
- Evidence of applying for a grant either individually or as a group since being appointed as Lecturer
- Evidence of active participation in departmental activities and good quality teaching
- Evidence of attendance and contribution at learned conferences, seminars or workshops
ii. Lecturer
Qualifications:
- PhD Degree in Economics from a recognized university or have successfully defended PhD thesis
- University teaching experience

VCT Counsellor
Grade C/D
Qualifications:
- KCE Division III/ KCSE Mean Grade C (Plain) and above
- Higher National Diploma (HND) in Counselling from a recognized institution
- Diploma in Counselling from a recognized institution
- At least two (2) years work experience, one (1) of which in an institution of Higher learning counselling students
- Computer literate
Kitui & Main Campus
Laboratory Technologist
Qualifications:
- KCE division III/KCSE mean Grade C (Plain) and above
- Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
- Worked in a busy Medical Laboratory in a National/Provincial/Mission/Private hospital/ Government Health Centre for at least five (5) years
- Registered by Kenya Medical Laboratory Technologists and Technicians Board (KMLTB)
- Computer literate
- Skill in Laboratory information management system will be an added advantage
Terms of Service:
For teaching positions above Tutorial Fellow employment will be on permanent and pensionable terms.
Tutorial Fellows are employed on one (1) year renewable contract, to the maximum of three (3) years.
The terms for non-teaching positions include a generous medical scheme, house allowance and commuting allowance. Successful candidates will be offered two (2) year renewable performance-based contract and gratuity will be paid at the end of the contract.
