We are building a mobile commerce platform in the Hyperlocal Search & Marketplace space. Our technology stack is primarily Mean.js and Android.

While our technology team sits out of India, we are looking to onboard an outstanding web developer locally in Kenya, who could support and liaise with the Indian team, provide onsite real-time support with 3rd-party integrations (especially payments), create website / landing pages etc., and possibly build our local team here.

We are on the verge of launching our first app in the Kenyan market — WIP @ ke.oliza.co, ke.oliza.co/CashBack

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in CS / IT / EE, or significant equivalent experience
• In-depth knowledge of modern HTML / CSS
• While Mean.js stack would be preferred, familiarity with other popular web programming languages like PHP, Javascript, Python etc. would be considered — candidate should be willing to learn on the job
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services
• Working knowledge and experience with designing tools like Photoshop, Sketch etc. will be a Big PLUS
• Should be strongly inclined to work in a startup environment and with the ability to self delegate tasks
• Previous experience of working for a product based startup is strongly preferred
