Our Company: Copia Global (“the Company”) is a for-profit, consumer goods catalog order and delivery service for the peri-urban and rural populations of the developing world.

Just as the Sears catalog revolutionized life in the pioneer days of the United States and Amazon revolutionized life in the internet age, the Company will apply many of the same marketing and distribution concepts to increase access for rural and peri-urban populations.

With $5T of annual income, the peri-urban and rural populations of the developing world represent a huge untapped market opportunity.

These populations remain underserved with no affordable access to basic necessities. Copia Global, using mobile communication technology and the internet, will open up distribution to these hundreds of millions of the world’s population, enhancing their lives while creating a world class operation.

As we continue to expand we are looking for talented, entrepreneurial results oriented individuals to join our sales and marketing team.

The Sales and Marketing Intern position is a 3 month internship where individuals will be mentored and given several meaningful assignments.

Interns who complete assignments successfully will be offered full time positions as Field Sales Associates.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or currently a 4th year
Passion for sales and marketing
Fluent in English and Kiswahili
Self-driven and attentive to detail,

Responsibilities: Sales and Marketing Interns will work and learn from our talented Sales and Marketing team to learn how we build and grow our agent base while incorporating key learnings to our best practices

Compensation: Interns are provided a small stipend, mentoring opportunities and the opportunity to get a full time position in a fast growing company after their internships.
