Rescue Team Kenya is (www.rescueteamkenya.org) a voluntary organization formed to advocate for the children in changing their lives and impacting humanity. The charity identifies children in needy and helps them. The charity presently owning a school called Rescue Team Kenya Community School based at Mukuru Slum Nairobi, Kenya started on 21 February 2014 with 56 and now has got 68 children many who are vulnerable, orphaned or who are from single parent. Here the children get love and caring. Rescue Team Kenya is based on private support from our friends who really believe in real change. Time To Empower Is Now!
AIM and OBJECTIVES: Rescue Team Kenya is determined to make sure that all of the children have the opportunity to attain a good future. We are working to establish a home for the children which will provide them with shelter, food, education and other necessities. We want to run a home of children that will enable them to pursue their dreams. We want to start a sponsorship program for vulnerable children in a way we believe would help improve their lives, like foster parent programs for children and vocational training for the drop out girls and teenage mothers. Also we would like to work with like minded individuals by exporting the charity’s bead work abroad and use its income for the organization’s expenditure.
MISSION: Rescue Team Kenya charity organization will make sure that the future of our society is transformed into another level full of opportunities for all by providing love, food, shelter, clothing, education, safe drinking water, medical care and career opportunities for the orphaned, deprived and destitute children in our society. Our initiatives mission is to create a sustainable program that will not only positively impact these children, but the community, country and the world.\
ACCOUNTS INTERN
Duties and Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing of appropriate accounting systems for clients.
- Performing necessary reconciliations including bank debtors and creditors’ reconciliations.
- Payroll processing and auditing where applicable
- Determining, computing and filing tax liability for clients where applicable.
- Generation of timely reports on a regular basis e.g. weekly, monthly or quarterly.
- Computing and filing of statutory deductions such as PAYE, NSSF and NHIF.
- Business development including account management and generation of new business.
- Advise clients in areas such as compensation, employee health care benefits, the design of accounting tax and other accounting areas.
- Raising and dispatching client invoices as and when they arise.
- Maintaining the company’s books of accounts including petty cash, banking and bank
- reconciliation, debtors’ and creditors’ schedules and other relevant accounting duties.
Professional societies
- Skills and Qualifications
- At least CPA 1
- Proficiency in MS Office an added advantage
- Not older than 29 years
- Good oral communication and listening skills
- Good analytical and organizational skills
