Location: Nairobi
Position Overview
The overall purpose of this position is to deliver quality ultrasound services to assist in diagnosis
Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound examinations;
- Provision of efficient and timely ultrasound imaging services within the laid down standard operating procedures and protocols;
- Safeguard all confidential information concerning patients and their treatment;
- Effective use of picture archiving and radiological information systems;
- Uphold the professional code of conduct and statutory regulations especially on radiation safety.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography is desirable
- At least two (2) years experience in the same field
- Knowledge of medical filming equipment
- Experience in diagnostic imaging
- Patients relations skills
- Able to work under minimum supervision

Radiologist
We are looking to recruit a Radiologist for our client, a multi specialty hospital providing affordable quality health care for both inpatient and outpatient clients, as well as being a referral facility for Africa.

Position Overview
The overall purpose of this position is to care for patients while practicing within the ethical and legal boundaries outlined by Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board. The ideal candidate will be required to adhere to safety protocols on the use of radiation for medical and other purposes.
Responsibilities
- Reporting and performance of Diagnostic Imaging examinations comprising of Ultrasonography, Xray reporting, Fluoroscopic screening for special procedures, CT and MRI;
- Work with Radiographers to maintain and continuously improve the services provided by the department;
- Arrange for cover during the Consultants absence from work in conjunction with the Hospital’s Management team;
- Formulate and review the Vision, Mission and the strategic planning of the diagnostic and imaging services in conjunction with the Hospital’s Management team;
- Organize for continuous medical education of diagnostic and imaging staff by organizing workshops, seminars, courses and on the job training;
- Participate in the annual performance appraisals for staff in the department;
- Contribute to medical imaging research and write articles for the Hospital;
- Participate in staff recruitment of diagnostic and imaging staff in consultation with the Hospital’s Management team.

Position Overview
Reporting to the College Principal, the role is responsible for teaching and coaching/mentoring that will facilitate production of qualified Nurses.
Responsibilities
- Undertake teaching both theoretical and clinical lessons to students to ensure mastery of skills;
- Monitor students performance to maintain institutional standards;
- Undertake guidance and counseling to promote personal integrity, team spirit and outstanding work standards;
- Participate in developing and reviewing the curriculum in line with Nursing Council requirements;
- Compile examination questions and may also be invited to mark national examinations;
- Prepare and issue students with certificates.
Requirements
- A nurse registered and licensed with the Nursing Council of Kenya (KRN/ KRM /KRCHN)
- Must hold a minimum of either BSN or Higher National Diploma in Medical Education
- At least two (2) years teaching experience in a reputable nursing school
- 3 – 5 years post-graduation clinical experience
- Computer literacy in all office application packages
- Self motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Must have good interpersonal skills

Position Overview
The overall purpose of this position is to perform various diagnostic, preventative and health maintenance services.
Responsibilities
- Take patients health histories;
- Perform physical examinations;
- Order X-rays and laboratory tests;
- Perform routine diagnostic tests;
- Establish diagnoses;
- Treat and manage patient health problems;
- Administer immunizations and injections;
- Instruct and counsel patients;
- Provide continuing care to patients in the home, hospital, or extended care facility;
- Provide referrals within the health care system;
- Perform minor surgery;
- Provide preventative health care services;
- Act as first or second assistants during surgery;
- Respond to life-threatening emergencies.
Requirements
- A Bachelors degree from a recognized institution
- Minimum of three (3) years working experience
- Registration by the Medical Practitioners and Dentist Board
