Job Summary: The position holder will be responsible to the Deputy Director Human Resource and Administration.
- Routine checks and maintenance of the vehicle.
- Carrying out first aid.
- Detecting and reporting malfunctioning of the vehicle’s systems.
- Carrying authorized passengers and/or goods.
- Monitoring efficient use of fuel by the assigned vehicle.
- Ensuring cleanliness and overall vehicle maintenance and management.
- Driving the assigned vehicle.
- Carrying out routine checks on the vehicle’s cooling, oil, electrical, tire pressure and brake systems, among others.
- Maintaining work ticket (s) for vehicle (s) assigned.
- Taking initiative for security and safety of the vehicle on and off the road and safety of the passengers and/or goods therein.
- Keeping fuel card safe.
- A Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade D+ (plus) or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
- At least six (6) years proven work experience in Driving.
- Passed Occupational Trade Test II for Drivers.
- A valid driving license free from any current endorsement(s).
- Defensive Driving Certificate from the Automobile Association (AA) of Kenya or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Attended a Refresher Course for drivers lasting not less than one (1) week within every three (3) years at Kenya Institute of Highways and Building Technology (KIHBT) or other recognized institution.
- A valid Certificate of Good Conduct.
- Attended a First-Aid Certificate Course lasting not less than one (1) week at St. John Ambulance or Kenya Institute of Highways and Building Technology (KIHBT) or any other recognized institution.
- Ability to get on well with the diverse workforce.

Job Summary: The job holder will be responsible to the Deputy Director, Research and Compliance and will be involved in carrying out compliance checks and audits, and monitoring and evaluation. The position will support Research, Policy Analysis and Compliance relevant to remuneration and benefits in the public sector.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze and utilize research data to assess the remuneration practice of public institutions.
- Participate in comparative studies of remuneration approaches and make appropriate recommendations on future trends.
- Develop, coordinate and maintain a database of relevant baseline survey information.
- Develop operational reporting template that facilitate the acquisition and aggregation of data from public institutions.
- Follow up on monitoring and evaluation exercises for various initiatives in SRC.
- Master’s degree in Economics, Statistics or any other relevant analytical area of study.
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, mathematics or related field.
- At least five (5) years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrate practical knowledge of economic/econometric, statistical analysis, public finance management principles and processes.
- Appreciable knowledge and practice in monitoring and evaluation environment.
- Demonstrate basic understanding of public sector policy analysis.
- Practical knowledge in the field of economic policy analysis.
- Leadership and integrity qualities as set out in chapter six of the Constitution and demonstrated compliance to the Public Service Values and Principles as defined in the Constitution.
- Ability to appropriately breakdown complex information into analytical reports.
- Ability to work under pressure/deadlines.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
