Business Development Rep at KTDA (MS) Ltd
Kenya Tea Development Agency (MS) Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of KTDA Holdings Ltd and a key player in the tea industry providing management services to the smallholder tea sub-sector for efficient production, processing and marketing of quality teas.
To ensure continued success and growth, we are seeking dynamic and highly talented individuals to join our management team in the following exciting and challenging position:
Position Scope: Reporting to the Manager – Marketing and Business Development, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating marketing and business development activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertaking new market development through profiling of new clients.
- Compiling and analyzing all market reports.
- Conducting market/customer trend analysis of all direct sales on monthly basis in liaison with sales team.
- Assisting in business follow ups after every marketing and Business Development trip to ensure actions have been taken
- Assisting in various marketing projects with specific emphasis to branding and other marketing projects.
- Coordinating with the relevant departments to facilitate marketing functions e.g. preparation of documentaries, preparation of brochures, customer visits
- Assisting in planning for exhibitions, conferences/trade shows.
- Liaising with promotional merchandise suppliers to ensure timely delivery of ordered merchandise.
- Handling of new tea enquiries/sales leads effectively and converting them into sales for business development.
- Bachelors degree in Marketing from a recognized institution
- Diploma in Marketing is an added advantage
- Two (2) years experience in marketing.
