- This is a middle level position and we therefore desire to have a dedicated and technically skilled business professional with a versatile administrative support skill set developed through experience as an office manager, secretary, administrative assistant and office clerk.
- Excel in resolving employer challenges with innovative solutions, systems and process improvements proven to increase efficiency, customer satisfaction and the bottom line.
- Excellent numeracy skills with knowledge and skills in the preparation and maintenance of records and reporting on same.
- Offer advanced computer skills in MS Office Suite and other applications/systems while ensuring excellent brand image.

Knowledge, skills and abilities
The position requires an appropriate bachelor’s degree in the field of Humanities & Social Sciences, with three (3) or more years’ experience in Office Management and a proven track record of consistent high performance.
In addition, the individual must demonstrate a thorough understanding and knowledge of the dynamics of the Publishing Industry in the Region

Summary of the position: This is a key position contributing towards fulfilling the mission of OUPEA.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Implementing the Corporate Compliance Program in line with OUP Group requirements
- Communicating the OUP Code of Conduct in the branch and to those we work with
- Ensuring that the branch conducts business in an ethical way
- Ensuring consistent adherence to all local and international legislation
- Training staff on the program
- Interacting with advisors to be able to assess legal requirement and other regulations in Kenya
- Ability to keep current with the latest guidelines by OUP Group and local laws on Anti-corruption and Economic Crimes.
The position requires a relevant Bachelor’s degree with at least four years relevant experience.
