Service Manager at Instep Business Solutions (IBS)
Instep Business Solutions (IBS) is looking to recruit a Service Manager for its client’s operations in Nairobi, Kenya.
Position Overview: The role will support the Service team by strengthening service infrastructure in East & Central Africa, increasing technician capability, manpower availability and customer visibility.
- Oversee all aspects relating to Service activity including In-Home Service, Parts & Quality Monitoring;
- Ensuring customer satisfaction;
- Relationship building and management with both internal and external parties in Middle East & Africa;
- Coordination and liaison with service providers in East Africa;
- Coordinate all aspects of training for the team from approved trainers;
- Overall staff management including performance management;
- Make relevant recommendations to Management in relation to competitors, recruitment of personnel, and service network expansion;
- Monitor bus operations and liaise with the service team to implement new buses across the region;
- Financial management and cost control;
- Inventory management and reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical Engineering or related)
- Experience in Consumer Electronics
- At least 5 years in a service related function
- Able to relate well with customers at all levels
- Excellent leadership and coordination skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
