Lamu Teachers is a medium-size, member based, fast growing and active organization offering a wide variety of financial services.
In a bid to meet the growth demands and improve on service delivery to members / clients, having now attained full computerization of its operations, the Sacco wishes to strengthen its IT Department and is therefore desirous of filling the following vacant position:
IT Officer

Minimum Qualifications
- Diploma in Computer Science or IT.
- ‘O’ Level Division 2 OR KCSE C+ having obtained at least C+ in English and Mathematics / Accounting.
- Accounting knowledge is an added advantage.
Qualities
- Should be a mature person, not less than 25 years and not exceeding 35 years of age.
- Should be honest and of high integrity.
- Must demonstrate ability to manage software programs, handle and attend to hardware matters.
- Should be able to work with minimum supervision and meet strict deadlines.
Experience: At least 2 years working experience.
Main Duties
- Installation and maintenance of all society hardware and software
- Provision of society application system user support
- Liaise with the various department heads to provide user access controls
- Advise Management of IT — related issues
- Perform end of day procedures including taking backups for safe storage
- Ensure the deployment of IT is in line with the society’s objectives
- Keep track of all IT — related equipment and ensure that they are always up and running.

Marketing Officer
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma in Marketing Management
- CPA added advantage
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position in the service (preferably financial) industry
- Computer literate and Motor Cycle Riding License as added advantage
- Aged between 25 – 35 years
The candidate must also possess:
- High level of integrity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work without supervision
