The Organization is geographically located in Nairobi, Naivasha, Kericho, Mt. Kenya
and Mombasa and works with 1,200 vegetables out growers and 10,000 tea out growers.
- Eco-log Forwarder Operator
- Eco-log Harvester Operator
- Stump Harvester Operator
The job holders are expected to;
- Operate the above machinery
- Perform daily and weekly services on the machines
- Diagnose defects and report any machine failure/ breakdowns on time
- Ensure economic use of the machine and maintain the set fuel targets.
- Accurately complete and keep machine records .
- Ensure health and safety standards are adhered within the work environment
- Obey traffic rules and regulation regarding driving the heavy plant .
- Keep the machinery clean and well maintained .
Minimum requirements
- KCSE level of education with Craft certificate in mechanics .
- Valid driving license B,C,E,D and articulated .
- Basic mechanic skills in repairs and maintenance of heavy plant .
- Able to read, write and communicated clearly in English .
- At least 5 years hands on experience in driving (operating) heavy plant and in particular eco-log equipment
- Computer literate
- Must be a team player and ready to learn.
