Key Responsibilities
- Collating, checking and analysing spreadsheet data.
- Examining company accounts and financial control systems.Maintains open communication with management and the audit committee
- Teams with other internal and external resources as appropriate
- Provides support to the company’s anti-fraud programs.
- Gauging levels of financial risk within organisations.
- Checking that financial reports and records are accurate and reliable.
- Ensuring that assets are safeguarded.
- Identifying if and where processes are not working as they should, and advising on changes to be made.
- Preparing reports, commentaries and financial statements.
- Liaising with managerial staff and presenting findings and recommendations.
- Ensuring procedures, policies, legislation and regulations are correctly followed and complied with.
- Undertaking reviews of wages.
- Exemplary background in Accounts
- Preferably a Bachelors Degree
- Certifications in ACA, ACCA or CA, CIMA, IIA or MIIA/CIPFA or CISA
- Should be Negotiating, diligent and thorough
- Ability to apply technical auditing knowledge

- A bachelors degree from a recognized institution
- Atleast 1-2 years experience in a banking industry

- Setting up new banking accounts, closing existing ones
- Receiving and processing deposits
- Handling withdrawals and loan payments

- Record every banking transaction processed each day.
- Cashing payroll checks, answering calls regarding customer accounts, distributing traveler’s checks, and exchanging correct foreign currency among other duties
- Selling banks products to eligible customers

The position is based in Mombasa, Kenya
We are seeking to recruit dynamic, committed and responsible person to fill this position.
Reporting to the Business Operations Manager, the job holder is responsible for day to day branch operations.
Main Duties and Responsibilities;
- Initiate and sustain branch strategies for growth in line with the organizational strategies and set targets
- Provide leadership in management of branch credit portfolio
- Oversee operations in the branch and ensure branch compliance with operational guidelines and procedures
- Oversee customer/member relations and maintain organization’s corporate image
- Provide leadership for continuous performance management of all staff in the branch, and build teams at branch level
- Provide a link between the branch and other organization’s functions
- Oversee production of timely and reliable reports
- University Graduate in Business, Commerce, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Accounting or its equivalent.
- Diploma in Banking or Micro Finance is an added advantage
- At least three (3) years management experience in a financial institution as a branch manager or any other equivalent position.
