IT Support Administrator at Adept Systems

Summary: Our client is a General Insurance Provider whose range of products includes Personal Accident, Liability, Medical, and Miscellaneous classes of General Insurance. 
The organization is seeking an experienced, highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to fill in the position of an Administrator – IT Support
He/she will provide direct support to users by ensuring that all users access required IT services and maintain high service standards to improve productivity within the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation, configuration and ongoing usability tuning of desktop computers, peripherals equipment and software within established standards and guidelines.
  • Trouble shooting and resolution of technical problems with network equipment and software.
  • Provide authorized access of internet and give rights to network folders across the departments as required.
  • Anti-virus, anti malware and anti spam support.
  • Train and orient operations and other staff on use of hardware, software and other IT facilities.
  • Continually provide solutions to interconnect diverse systems including associated validation system file server, emails server, presentation system.
  • Perform upgrade on hardware systems to enhance efficiency.
  • Supervise on scheduled maintained activities to ensure peak performance of all IT equipment.
  • Interact successfully with numerous computer platforms and applications in a multi layered client server environment.
Qualification and Experience
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/Information Management.
  • N+, A+, CISCO and MSP certification
  • At least 2 years relevant experience in a similar role
  • Good leadership and problem solving skills
  • A proven ability to build strong client relationships and maintain an excellent customer focus
