RedR is an international charity that improves the effectiveness of disaster relief, helping save and rebuild the lives of people affected by disaster worldwide.
We do this by delivering essential training and support to relief organisations and their staff, and by supplying skilled professionals to humanitarian programmes.
Our work helps to ensure that the right people with the right skills are responding to global emergencies, and enables both local and international relief workers to react to the needs of those affected by disaster, efficiently and safely.
Terms of Reference:
- Responsible for overall information technology systems, printers and scanners in the office ensuring functional work stations for all staff members.
- Install, maintain and update the network, system and software and guide users about appropriate usage of equipment and relevant software on weekly basis max 2 hours in a week.
- In consultation with the HOS, arrange timely replacement of hardware/software’s and periodically check equipment for smooth operation.
- Ensure timely backup of user’s data;
- Provide IT support to all users and update all systems requirements on timely basis.
- Assist in development and rolling out of new software for departments.
- Ensure installation and updating of antivirus on systems on monthly basis.
- Provide technical support to RedR IT department whenever required.
Essentials:
- The Firm should be well conversant with internet environments, wired and wireless networks.
- Solid experience in Installation & troubleshooting of hardware and software.
- Previous experience and expertise in Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Office 2010.
- Good reputation as a services provider by issuing a current reference list.
- Registered Firm in Kenya have a valid Pin certificate.
- Bank Account details in Kenya.
