SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER-INSURANCE
An enthusiastic self starter with a strong drive to improve existing processes and systems is highly desired. Excellent organizational skills, ability to balance immediate/long term priorities and exceptional multitasking skills are a necessity.
Key objectives will be achieving/improving/exceeding targeted customer service levels, managing inventory levels and targets, and managing supply and demand within the Organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Maintaining a sufficient medical provider to serve our client.
- Recruitment of service providers, with contracts and SLA’s.
- Continuously negotiating to achieve improved prices/discounts, special beneficial partnerships/arrangements.
- Auditing of suppliers to ensure they keep to SLA’s and contracts.
- Resolving vendor complaints
- Fraud management facilitation
- Conducting research on trends to take advantage of business opportunities
- Procurement of other administration goods and services- this is a very small portion of our business.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain or related field
- 2-3 years Supply Chain Planning experience
- Knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain concepts and application
- Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills (oral & written)
- Insurance experience – added advantage
- ERP system experience – added advantage
- Self-starter with ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities
- Professional affiliation certification or certification in progress preferable
