Minimum Qualifications
- Diploma (in Business/ Marketing) or equivalent preferred
- Knowledge of customer service principles and processes
- Knowledge of sales principles
- Relevant knowledge on workshops & training
- Experience in a retail, customer service or sales environment
- Basic business administration knowledge
Job Description
- Contacting potential clients/ organizations to provide information and market Iris projects
- Tele-marketing, corresponding and meeting with current and prospective customers.
- Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale and surpass the sales target set;
- Responding to incoming email and phone enquiries;
- Preparing & coordinating invitation of key guests and speakers
- Making travel & accommodation arrangements for delegates
- Conducting sales and marketing of sponsorship opportunities to potential sponsors (and delivery)
- Developing approaches that will encourage donor/sponsors support
- Assisting in delivery of publicity material to potential delegates, sponsors and other stakeholders
- Registration (should include on-line registration and paper registration, on-site registration, collection of fees, and statistical reports on registration numbers, breakdowns etc.)
