Security Group Africa with a presence in the East Africa region is urgently looking for aggressive, innovative and result oriented people for the following positions.
Sector Manager.
A Sector Manager reports to the General Manager – Guarding and is responsible for the efficient and profitable operation of an area sector.
Requirements.
- Minimum KCSE C+ or equivalent. Possession of a University degree will be an advantage.
- At least four years relevant experience in a reputable security firm.
- Must be computer literate.
- Must have good oral and written communication skills.
- Must have excellent customer liaison skills.
- Must have a valid driving license.
- Should be 30 – 40 years old.
This is a senior position and the successful candidate must have the capacity to efficiently develop implement and frequently review the Internal Audit charter, Policy and procedure manual.
Key Responsibilities.
- To maintain, motivate and direct departmental staff in delivering high quality service.
- Establish quality assurance program for the internal Audit department.
- Implement the annual audit plan as approved by the Board Audit Committee.
- Provide assurance that the company’s operations comply with policies standards procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
- Periodically provide an assessment on the adequacy and effectiveness of the company’s control systems in managing risks.
- Provide assurance that the company’s resources are acquired economically, used efficiently and protected adequately.
- Ascertain the correctness and validity of transactions in conformity with laid down rules and procedures.
- Minimum B. Com (Accounts Option) or equivalent from a recognized University.
- The following qualifications are desirable:- M.B.A , CISA[Certified Information System Auditor], C.I.A [Certified Internal Auditor] and CFE [Certified Fraud Examiner]
- Certified Public Accountant. C.P.A. [K] or equivalent.
- At least 5 years relevant experience.
- Must have an understanding of technical aspects of accounting and financial reporting and be conversant with Internal auditing standards and risk assessment practices.
- Must exhibit leadership skills and have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have excellent analytical abilities.
- Must be a Team player and posses solid business judgment.
The successful candidate will be responsible to the Managing Director for the smooth and efficient running of the mobile vehicle response function and the Radio Control Room.
Key Responsibilities.
- Co ordination of the operations of a vast response team.
- Generation of well analysed departmental performance reports as per the set parameters.
- Client Liaison aimed at nurturing and retaining business.
- Overseeing incident investigation process and taking appropriate internal and external action.
- Directing, Developing and Motivating the Departmental team.
- Must have a Diploma in any Social science from a reputable Institution. Possession of a University Degree in any social science will be an advantage.
- Those with at least two years experience in the Military or Police Force will have an advantage.
- At least seven years operational experience in a reputable Security Firm with at least two years in a senior management position.
- Must have computer competency.
- Must have good interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate shall be responsible for the efficient and profitable operation of the Branch.
Key Responsibilities.
- Efficient management of guarding, technical, response and cash management services.
- Driving of revenue growth at the Branch by prospecting for new business.
- Ensuring good Credit Control practices are maintained in line with company policy.
- Provision of excellent client liaison services with a view to maximizing client satisfaction and retention.

- Must have at least 7 years experience in a security firm, three of which should be in a middle level management position
- Must have a clear understanding of operations in a security company.
- Must have selling and customer relations skills.
- 30 – 45 years old.
- Must be computer literate.
- Should have leadership skills.
- Should be a person of integrity.
The successful candidate will be responsible to the Technical Manager for the supervision of all technical jobs and ensuring that the set deadlines for job completion are kept and the quality of work is not compromised.
Key Responsibilities.
- Monitor job cards and ensure completion of tasks within set deadlines.
- Engage with clients and ensure their concerns are addressed promptly.
- Carry out general supervision of technicians.
- Must hold a minimum Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering from any University, National Polytechnic or any recognized public training institution.
- Must have at least five years relevant experience.
- Must have good interpersonal, administrative and client relations skills.
- Must possess adequate computer competencies.
The successful candidate will be responsible to the Head of sales and Marketing and the General Manager –Coast Region for increasing clients base in his/her designated zone.
Key Attributes of candidate.
- Minimum K.C.S.E grade C or equivalent. Possession of qualifications in sales and marketing will have an advantage.
- Should be 25 – 40 years old.
- At least 4 years relevant experience.
- Must be computer literate
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Must have a valid driving license.
The successful candidate will be attached to one of our sister companies and shall be responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of an accounting Unit.
Key Responsibilities.
- Generation of monthly basic accounting reports.
- Checking and preparing bank and general ledger control accounts reconciliation.
- Making of statutory returns as per the Kenyan laws and regulations.
- Minimum K.C.S.E. C plain or equivalent.
- Minimum CPA [K] 11
- Excellent Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software.
- Good communication and report writing skills.
- At least three years working experience.
The successful candidate will deputise the Operations Manager and play a critical role in the smooth operation of the guarding function.
Key Responsibilities.
- Shall ensure that all client contracts are valid and up to date.
- Maintain client records and forward relevant client information to the Finance department for processing.
- Oversee the activities of supervisors and Inspectors.
- Enforce strict discipline in the guard force,
- Carry out client liaison as desired.
- Must have minimum K.C, S.E C plain or equivalent.
- Must have excellent client liaison and decision making skills.
- Must have at least five years experience in a supervisory role in guarding operations.
- Must have good oral and written communication skills.
The successful candidate will have the key responsibility of vetting and preparing new recruits for service in the company.
Key Responsibilities.
- Vetting of potential recruits in line with company policy.
- Preparing and presenting shortlisted candidates to the interview panel for selection.
- Planning and coordinating training activities at the training school.
- Setting administering and marking examinations.
- Supervising the compilation of personal files for the trainees.
- Minimum K. C.S.E. D+ or equivalent.
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Must have experience in any of the disciplined forces.
- Must have at least two years experience as a trainer in the forces or a security firm.
- Must be conversant with the National Industrial Training Authority Scheme for Security Guards.
- Must have proven leadership qualities.
The successful candidates will have the key responsibilities of liaising with clients to ensure that services rendered are paid for as per the agreed credit period.
Key Responsibilities.
- Calling and making programmed visits to clients on a daily basis for purposes of collection.
- Reconciliation of client’s accounts and ensuring that all payments/ credits are posted and allocated accordingly.
- Ensuring timely client invoice dispatch.
- Minimum K.C.S.E. D+ or equivalent.
- Minimum KATC Final. Those with CPA 1 or equivalent will have an advantage.
- Must be computer literate,
- Must have excellent negotiations skills.
- At least one year relevant experience
