Roaming Engineer
Reporting to: Team leader

Role Purpose:
- IR testing and roaming troubleshooting.
Key Duties and Responsibilities.
Major responsibility:
- Test and launch VOICE, CAMEL, GPRS (Inbound and Outbound Roaming).
- Technical implementation for roaming partners’ data in MSC, HLR IN, GPRS nodes.
- Work closely with TADIG team for validation of IREG tests.
- Technical Fault Resolution (including technical support for live services/partners).
- New Services Testing.
Main Duties
- IREG Testing with new Roaming Partners (IR24, IR32 IR35, IR50).
- Implement in MSS, IN, for new Roaming Partner data as well as IR.21 updates of existing Roaming relationships.
- Testing of Roaming VAS.
- To tackle all roaming related technical problems. Troubleshooting and resolution of any Roaming issues. Responsible for resolving all IR issues.
- Interact with Signaling provider, Intl carrier and roaming partner for resolution of LU and call connectivity issues. Ability to take SS7 and ISUP traces, analyze the data to identify and resolve any issues
- Escalate issues to RP Network Engineering.
- Coordinate IREG Activities with our RP teams (including Tests scheduling and SIM exchange).
