Unighir Ltd., specializing in designing of professional kitchens and providing high quality catering equipment within East Africa is looking to recruit a Storekeeper to support business growth and expansion in various regions:

 

Storekeeper

Position Overview:

 

The role will oversee the receipt, storage, requisitioning and disbursement of supplies and materials as well as maintaining inventory & stock records.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  1. Managing and organizing the store
  2. Creating and managing an inventory system
  3. Ensuring optimum stock levels are observed
  4. Receiving and inspecting all incoming material against purchase orders
  5. Management and issuance of supplies to staff
  6. Preparing item lists for auction sales
  7. Documentation i.e. purchase orders, store records, bin cards, requisitions, store tags
  8. Participate in stock-taking

 

Requirements:

 

  1. Minimum 2 years experience in storekeeping and inventory management
  2. Degree or diploma in Procurement & Supplies
  3. Knowledge in basic bookkeeping
  4. Attention to detail
  5. Proficiency in MS Office applications
  6. Ability to work under pressure
  7. Expert multi-tasking and organization skills
  8. Good report writing skills
