System Administrator
The key responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to:-
- Leading in maintenance of the I.S. infrastructure and execution of the I.S strategy.
- Managing the co-ordination, Identification, and resolution of multi-site conflicts, issues as related to computer systems, applications and networks.
- Managing the systems security and networks against computer virus and other forms of malicious attack.
- Leading the provision of timely and responsive support to users, systems, and network problems and issues across the organization.
- Manage assigned projects
- Implementation of Policies and procedures
- Maintain an integrated I.S asset register for the group
- Maintenance of network infrastructure and hardware support
- Leading in the development of procedures to install and maintain computer systems to meet the needs of NWH
- Maintain consolidated group register of all support issues
- Ensure user call logs are urgently resolved
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelors Degree in Technology or equivalent
- MCSE or MCSD
- Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA)
- A+
- At least 3 years relevant work experience
- Application and exploitation of IT Working knowledge MS AX Financials, Inventory and CRM will be an added advantage
ERP Database Administrator
The key responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to:-
- Establishing the needs of users and monitoring user access and security
- Mapping out the conceptual design for a planned database in outline
- Develop in house systems as per user specifications
- Considering both back-end organization of data and front-end accessibility for end-users
- Refining the logical design so that it can be translated into a specific data model; further refining the physical design to meet system storage requirements
- Installing and testing new versions of the database management system (DBMS)
- Maintaining data standards, including adherence to the Data Protection Policies and Procedures
- Writing database documentation, including data standards, procedures and definitions for the data dictionary (metadata)
- Developing, managing and testing back-up and recovery plans; ensuring that storage, archiving, back-up and recovery procedures are functioning correctly
- Communicating regularly with technical, applications and operational staff to ensure database integrity and security
- Commissioning and installing new applications and customizing existing applications in order to make them fit for purpose.
- Preparing monthly departmental reports and KPIs
- Monitoring performance and managing parameters to provide fast query responses to front-end users
- Developing, training, motivating and evaluating departmental staff to achieve highest levels of performance
- Identifying, implementing and benchmarking best practices in management
- Determining & coordinating departmental reporting and communication requirements
- Ensuring Superior Customer Experience to internal and external clients
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor Degree in Technology
- Certified Oracle administrator or
Microsoft Certified System Developer (MCSD)
- Diploma in Management Information System
- At least 3 years relevant experience
