Principal Organizational Effectiveness Officer
Reporting to the Senior Manager – Organizational Effectiveness; the successful candidate will be involved in Organisation design, Talent management, Performance management, Culture management, Change Management skills & competency management, HR metrics, Job Evaluation and Organisation Effectiveness projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with the section manager in the development of talent programs and ensure standardized implementation of these programs across the business through effective dialogue with the HRBPs on the same;
- Define the talent assessment framework and ensuring implementation of the same in liaison with the HRBPs.
- Determine the talent program reporting matrix, ensure this is approved and ensure submission of the organization wide talent program reports.
- Liaise with the HRBP team to ensure all divisional succession plans have been outlined and approved and any developmental needs for identified successors discussed for implementation with the Learning & Development team;
- Ensure timely activation of the Safaricom performance management cycle;
- Facilitate culture management within Safaricom by identifying what the culture really is and outlining people driven initiatives that will ensure embedding the preferred culture across the business;
- Research and provide current advice to other functions on Organization Effectiveness needs and opportunities and trends in the market;
- Execution and completion of all Organization Design programs and projects according to the approved project plan and ensure deliverables meet quality standards;
- Monitoring, analyzing and reporting on Organization Effectiveness initiatives on a Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly/Annual basis and within SLA;
- Degree in Human Resources Management / Management / Administration or any business discipline from a recognized university;
- Post-Graduate qualifications in Human Resources Management
- 7 years broad experience in Human Resources including experience in organization design;
- Experience in stakeholder management
- Ability to manipulate data to generate reports weekly, monthly, quarterly & annually;
- Good communication, interpersonal and time management skills;
- Proactive, confident, energetic and ability to work under pressure;
- A team player with a pleasant outgoing personality with empathy and resilience.
