Interns – Furaha Community Foundation – Huruma Nairobi
Furaha Community Foundation operating in Huruma – Nairobi, a not – for – profit organization that serves to Empower the OVC’s and their Guardians through Education, Health and Economic Empowerment initiatives.
Invites interested interns in the below field of studies, or any other related field.
- Communication/Journalism and Media,
- Information Technology
- Finance/Accounting
- Social work/ Community Development/Project Management.
- Business Commerce and/or Business Administration.
(3 to 6 months unpaid internship, with at least 6 hours each day)
Requirements: Desirable,
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, planning skills, self motivated and outgoing warm personality.
- Applicants must be able to be efficient, able to use their initiative and be a quick learner.
- Excellent English language ability
- Ability to work flexibly in a team, focused, with enthusiasm and commitment.
- Computer literate; a skilled user of computer applications and able to utilize New Media forms.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage a varied workload.
- Proactive approach to meeting deadlines and delivering results with limited supervision.
- Experience working with young people and knowledge of web based applications will be an added advantage.
